TEAM
FORMAT
Teams will consist of a minimum
of 4 players with a maximum of 6. The match format will consist
of four (4) singles and two (2) doubles matches. In case of a
tie, the number one doubles team will decide the overall team
match by playing a 10-point Super Tie-Breaker. All matches
will be scored using a 8 game no-ad pro-set. In the case where a
team is missing a player, the missing player will forfeit their
match with an 0-8 loss. Total games won will determine the match
winner. The overall season winner will be determined by a
win/loss record during the Fall Season. In case of a tie,
playoffs will be held to determine an overall season winner.
All matches are played
on Saturday afternoons at 3:00 pm, with locations to
be determined. We will try to accommodate an equal number of
home and away matches. The first matches will begin on April
30th, and the season will run for approximately 8 - 10 weeks,
with the final match on November 19th. Trophies and other awards
will be presented to all players on the 1st and 2nd place teams on the final day of the league.
